10-year Generac extended warranty
We purchase Generac’s 10-Year Extended Limited Warranty for Air-Cooled Product ($1,035 MSRP) and register it in your name. Ten years of parts and labor coverage, backed by Generac — not a third party. Some exclusions apply; you receive the warranty statement with your paperwork.
First-year maintenance
A full scheduled service visit in year one: oil and filter change, inspection, battery and transfer-switch check, and a test run — done by the same team that installed it.
Cold weather kit, pad & battery
Wisconsin winters are hard on engines. Every unit we install gets the Generac cold weather kit (oil warmer and breather heater) and start kit installed and wired from day one, so it starts when it’s twenty below. We also set every unit on a QuickProducts composite pad and put an Interstate battery in it — a big-box generator ships with neither. Off the shelf, the kits, pad and battery add up to roughly $850 in parts before anyone wires a thing.

Guardian series, roughly 10–26 kW. Covers essentials or the whole house for most homes in our area. Runs on natural gas or propane. This is what the majority of our customers choose.

Straight answers
Can I finance and still get the $1,000 gift card?
Yes. The gift card goes with cash payment or any of our standard financing offers, whichever lender you’re approved with. The only option that doesn’t include the card is the promotional 0% APR for 48 months.
Is the 0% for 48 months a “deferred interest” deal?
No. It is Synchrony’s No Interest / Equal Payments plan: the purchase is split into 48 equal monthly payments and no interest is charged on it. There is no interest waiting to be back-charged at the end — the only things to watch are making each payment on time (a late fee applies) and the one-time $29 activation fee Synchrony charges when the first purchase posts.
Can I get the gift card and the 0% APR?
No — it’s one or the other. We’ll show you the monthly payment on both so you can compare.
Do I still get the 10-year warranty and first-year maintenance if I finance?
Yes. Both are included with every generator we install during this event, no matter how you pay.
Is there a fixed price?
No. Every home is different, so every project is quoted individually after a free in-home visit. The quote is written, itemized, and yours to think over.
Is this a Generac promotion?
No. This is Red Barn Service’s own offer, funded by us, for customers in our service area. The generator, the extended warranty and the factory support are Generac’s — the deal is ours.
When do I get the gift card?
At the end of the job — once the installation is complete, the final walkthrough and sign-off are done, and all payments per your agreement have cleared. We provide it in person.
Does the 10-year warranty really cover labor?
Yes — Generac’s 10-Year Extended Limited Warranty for Air-Cooled Product covers parts and labor per Generac’s published terms (some exclusions apply). It applies to current Guardian models with the Evolution controller, which is what we install. We purchase it at the time of your install so the 10 years start on your purchase date, register it for you, and you’ll receive the warranty statement with the exact coverage. Regular maintenance keeps it valid, which is one more reason we include year one.
Who do I call if there’s a problem later?
Us. We’re a factory-authorized Generac dealer in Abbotsford and we service what we sell — including the annual maintenance after your first free year.
